You may remember that I had planned to do an 18-day cross-country road trip this summer. Well, for a few reasons, the trip had to be shortened to 8 days. I will still be visiting six ballparks with my friend Dan, and we’ll be staying with several friends along the way. We may not be seeing as many sights as we previously thought, but I couldn’t be more excited for the trip.
Here is the itinerary:
Wed., 5/29: Philadelphia, 7:00 game at Citizens Bank Park
Thurs., 5/30: Cleveland, 7:00 game at Progressive Field
Fri., 5/31: Chicago, 2:00 game at Wrigley Field
Sat., 6/1: Minneapolis
Sun., 6/2: Minneapolis, 2:00 game at Target Field
Mon., 6/3: Milwaukee, 7:00 game at Miller Park
Tues., 6/4: Detroit, 7:00 game at Comerica Park
Wed., 6/5: Home
The trip home from Detroit is a pretty long one (10 hours), so we may stop on the way depending on how we feel.
We have some other things planned throughout the course of the trip, like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Millenium Art Festival. We might even visit a brewery or two. There will be some surprises along the way.
I will also be filming a daily video blog, which means that the thousands* of you out there will be able to stalk us throughout the trip. I’ll edit the daily vlog on the road and will post it on here and my YouTube account.
*By thousands, of course, I mean 4.
See you on the road.
